MORE INFO
The ski-tours start right at the doorstep of our house. For example, a 15km trip takes you to the top of Blåtinden (1142) from where you can ski straight down to our front door again, just in time for a cold beer (or 2?) and a hot sauna.
Fancy something different? Take a trip to explore a neighbouring island, or, perhaps, a 40 minute trip across the Lyngen Fjord in our excellent boat to the mainland and a tour of the majestic, 90km long, Lyngen Alps.
Climbing – ice or rock, your thing? Ice cascades, virgin couloirs and the rock walls of the Isvannet valley all wait for you.
Having a rest-day? Fancy trying your hand at sea fishing? Not a problem – our skipper will take you to the fishing grounds where you will catch your dinner. Probably enough for tomorrow night as well – catching 30kg of fish is not unusual. And just in case you happen to beat our record – currently a 77,6kg halibut – you get a bottle of wine.
This is the far north my friends, this is THE ARCTIC!
Our experienced IVBV guides, with their excellent local knowledge, will help you get the most from your trip to Lyngen, showing you the best ski-tour routes and the most spectacular climbs and hikes. As professionals they will ensure your safety, provide thorough knowledge of the area, topography, maps and navigation equipment. They will help you raise your skills and advise you on all aspects of moving and surviving in the Arctic. Our skipper and chief-of-staff will not only drive your boat, but also cook an outstanding Norwegian fish soup for you.
All this at prices you can really afford.
We whole-heartedly invite you to the Arctic. Come and see what nature has waiting for you.
It’s a breath of fresh air – literally!
