Every year hundreds of giant humpback whales and orcas come to the Lyngen-Skjervøy area to feed on huge herring schools. This produces an unbelievable show of feeding, breaching the surface and even interacting with people. It’s a very rare chance to actually come in close contact with those unbelievably graceful animals.
